Brexiters celebrating their clusterfuck and insisting you play along isn't gaslighting. That's not what gaslighting is. It's just being an asshole.

Gaslighting can employ lying. Lying is not gaslighting.
Politicians telling you something was different isn't gaslighting. You are not being psychologically abused, you're being told a lie that everyone recognises and consolidates for you that it is a lie.
Please, stop skewing the meaning of it because there is no other way to explain why I don't know how much of my childhood is even fucking real without going into detail
