Happy(ish) 2021 Randle thread!
Knicks shot 3/36 from deep last night. No team has ever shot as badly on equivalent or more volume. ( @MAXimum_Stats)
Randle had 16/10/5 on 5/12 and 6/7 from the line, but played really well. Here are 14(!) missed 3's directly off Randle passes:

Randle had 16/10/5 on 5/12 and 6/7 from the line, but played really well. Here are 14(!) missed 3's directly off Randle passes:
2) Norm and Baynes double Randle on the wing, kick to Elf , who should pull, but hesitates, kicks back to Randle to launch contested 3 himself.
3) Randle push in transition, Raps dig into the paint, kicks to RJ, who misses a wiiiiiiiide open Rivers in the corner, and misses the 3.
5) OG and Johnson double Randle at the elbow, Randle with a quick one dribble and kickout to Elf for the airball (notice Lowry refusing to help off RJ in the corner too).
6) again the Raps double off Payton, Randle goes the other way and hits Bullock on the wing who missed a contested look.
8) Randle iso left wing, quick move to get into the paint, with all 5 Raptors with him, kick to RJ in the corner.
9) Randle iso left elbow, FVV sinking off Elf in the paint, smart cut by Elf to occupy Powell - Reggie's defender - Randle kicks to Bullock wiiiiide open again for the miss.
11) Randle off the rebound, pushes in transition, has Powell in trouble, FVV helps off Knox in the corner, kickout, airball.
This game was an outlier, but the Raps schemed to give Elf especially and RJ to some extent these looks. Randle made the right play, over, and over, again. RJ is in a hellacious slump - but the process was fine.
