As a reformed alcoholic , sober for over two decades I'm happy to help anybody who wants to try Dry January with some suggestions of decent low alcohol or alcohol free options . All the following suggestions are readily available in your local supermarket :
Personally I don't worry about any drinks that are less than 1% alcohol content or so - you'd have to drink loads to get even a mild buzz so unless you're an absolute Puritan about it I wouldn't get hung up about some that are 'low alcohol' rather than 'alcohol free' ....
So lager and IPA wise I like Brewdog's Lost AF ...in fact Brewdog do a really good range of alcohol free beers including Nanny State and Punk AF but this is my personal fave - best enjoyed in a glass rather from the can in my opinion
I also like Lucky Saint , Free Damm and Clausthaler .... of the big mass produced ones Heineken 0/0 is actually pretty good if you just want a refreshing drink on a hot day -Becks Blue gets ridiculed but isn't terrible either just very bland as are some of the other big brands
The 'Smashed' range from Drynks are worth investigating too - I particularly enjoy there 'Pale' offering
For me the best of the bunch though is Adnams 'Ghost Ship' 0.5% Citrus Pale Pale, which is simply amazing ....
If you prefer spirits there are some surprising good options other there - the Clean Co do a really impressive gin and a frankly brilliant rum , which I really like ..... worth checking out here - http://www.clean.co  ... I think they've got a Dry January deal on too ...
The Seedlip range is also good with their Seedlip Spice head and shoulders above the other options in their range in my opinion
As I say all of these can be bought in Sainsbury's , Waitrose , Tesco , Marks & Spencer's etc , all of which are increasing their alcohol free ranges all the time ....or , visit http://www.drydrinker.com  if you'd prefer to shop online ......hope that helps !
