A bumper otter year - one proper ‘behind you’ moment on the boardwalk at Figgate, and a couple of journeys up the burn.
Managed a couple of ninja trips, pre-lockdown to Berlin then later to Skye and Shieldaig. 3 favourite places, and a chance to meet friends for the first time in months.
The water of Leith just as productive this year - 35 consecutive days with the kingfishers and family, and several memorable otter encounters.
Lockdown meant no more live gigs in person. The Jon Hopkins gig at Usher Hall felt like a seminal on-edge moment and was our last trip out for a while.
