2/ This is why they are scrapping the vaccine second dose, to get up to that 15m as fast as possible, of course there's also panic about rising rates but if they were that concerned about cutting transmission they wouldn't be planning 30 kids in classrooms without mask next week

5/ These alt-right libertarian groups have spent the last week arguing for exactly the same policy, rush out first jabs, dont worry about second and get back to normal once a fraction of the population have had it. Very dismissive of long covid.

8/ So last night recent threads of mine were being shared by German accounts, many translated tweets later the parallel debate raging over schools there really is remarkable.

9/ This group is widely promoted by lockdown skeptics, gets a lot of media time, doesn't believe children should be tested, is demanding schools go back straight away, ignores long covid and has no concern for risk schools pose to CEV families

20/ As we have seen with the constant use of the Childrens Commissioner's meaningless 40,000 years lost for one day, it seems like people in certain institutions are supporting the skeptics narrative and engaged in gaslighting.
21/ There are worries the group are a stalking horse for GBD, which is in turn feeding the conspiracy theories and distrust the far right feeds on to lead people down the rabbit hole, whilst playing on the selfishness of some people to support their proposals
