Noticed of late students from a particular community cracking civil service,NEET exams in large numbers.Ever wondered why?

Apart from the factor that the community as a whole gives more importance to these kind of exams, there is another prime reason.

Let's explore..
At a young age, their children as a rule WILL HAVE TO memorise the verses from their religious book in a language totally different from Indic languages. They have regular exams too for the same.

We see this in another community too for whom religious classes are a never miss.
Let us look at ourselves.

Do we have any such rigid 'rules' to teach the vast enormous stotras or verses from Gita etc?

Even at our homes,we do not enforce or even encourage the little ones from a tender age to assimilate the never ending treasures within our religion.
Learning a new language, apart from mother tongue &English at a young age definitely has a huge influence.

And why not that be Sanskrit, the usual medium having our verses, sutras?

If learning Sanskrit looks like an uphill task, try encouraging kids to learn and chant sahasranama.
The benefits of this are many fold.
1)The tremendous effect of memorising verses on the brain.
2)As the child grows,he/she will have an inclination to learn Sanskrit which is a language that can be learnt only under will and not on force.
3)It roots the child to his/her religion.
Memorising at a young age increases cognitive skills, bestows sharper memory.

The child gets exposed at a tender age to the constant, strenuous process of learning so much so that learning/studying later on doesn't fatigue them.
Nor does the months long,if not years long process of preparation for competitive exams break them.
That is what they are used to from a young age.

They learn, learn to memorise gradually when they are young.

So the pattern of results in competitive exams shouldn't surprise us.
Education is a constant process, let it not be limited to mere academics.
Everything assimilated is knowledge.

I am aware there can be exceptions to the above said, yet in many cases it could turn out to be true.
To end, there is a saying in malayalam-" Pattaril pottarilla" translates to there are no dumb ones in pattar (Brahmins)
Not bringing in caste. But there could be a reason.
At a young age, they have to memorise Sanskritised chants, stotras, verses from the Vedas and other texts.

The process of studying began much earlier than any other child of their age.

Passes from one generation to another. And we see them, many successful in various fronts.
