1/5 Some things I reflected upon while riding my bike alone (indoor) or with friends (outdoor) from March to December 2020: 1) When it gets tough, dig deep and continue, it will get better. Focus on small steps, small tasks to accomplish.
2/5

2) Never forget that others around you have it tough too if not tougher.
3) You are much stronger than you think, both physically and mentally; push your limits: you will be surprised by the results you get.
3/5

4) Don’t be a victim (Doc River’s The Playbook). Be in control of your life.
5) “Embrace the suck” (Navy Seals) and try to turn negative into positive. Always.
6) Take calculated risks, dare to do things, dare to fail and when so, learn, apologize if needed, and move on.
4/5
7) Be kind to people.

8) Be demanding of yourself and of others, but also be reasonable and compassionate.

9) Try to be better. Everyday. Even when it is challenging. Remember: no one is perfect. Introspection and retroaction are key.
5/5
10) It is lonely at the top. Find good friends and colleagues to talk to (and rant and complain, laugh and cry). This is key to mental health. I was very fortunate to have some around me this summer.

Happy New Year! Bonne année Enjoy 2021!!!
