Okay, before the year is done here’s my 2020 reflection thread:
Clearly, this year sucked ass. I really don’t have much hope for next year coming from a travesty of a year like this. A lot of the same problems will still linger and fester, and probably get worse.

For me personally this year sucked ass. I feel more mentally ill and isolated than ever. I feel completely unaccomplished and I lack any drive to do anything. I don’t talk with my peers much, hell I’ve not seen nearly all of them since March.
I just feel like I’ve lost an important time in my life and it’s not going to get back on track until September. Going into this year, I had such high hopes, and for the first two months I felt like I was growing as a person. Then March happened.
The first few weeks of March were the biggest fever dream of my life. First Bernie loses and then we’re all stuck inside for an indefinite period. It’s painful knowing all the cool shit that could’ve happened this year, that it didn’t have to be this bad.
However, some good stuff did happen. I’m glad I got into a bunch of cool manga like Baki and Kengan. I’m very happy that I caught up on so many great films like The Thing and Silence of the Lambs. Didn’t play a lot of games I enjoyed though.
I’m also thankful for all of you cool folks I’ve met over the past year on this platform. I still feel the isolation creeping in, but having you guys around makes it easier. Hope all of you have a blessed new year. See you on the other side
