Her foundational movements here are so good. What comes first? The intricate details of movement that you see pros fine tuning in their drill work?
Or moving fast resulting in movement to emerge as she finds best solutions to swing fast?
Or combination of both?🤷‍♂️ #SwingFaster
One of the more dangerous things I see on social media is parents/younger players, 8-18 year olds, doing drill work that they see adult pros doing without understanding the motor pathways those adult pros have all ready created
And majority of romanticized swing change stories
You see on social media, the pros ALL READY could move fast. Could hit the ball hard. Then they turn to being more consistent cleaning up the path with more fine tuned detailed work
Parents/young players resorting to that fine tuned drill work first and only is very harming
Following this type of story of this inspiring girl athlete are way more valuable than replicating the drills that adult pros. What did those pros do from 8-18 to acquire that skill & movement?
This girls Training is rooted in pillars to acquire skill and foundational movement
This girls father also has a strong understanding of technical vs tactical and how to provide all of it. Very fascinating to follow this girls training.
Speed. Accuracy. Technical aspects. What movement matters.
This girl and her Dad are very advanced. What a fun follow
