Looking back on 2020 through soups, a thread 🍜
January: thai chicken soup from Higher Ground. I miss her.
February: homemade miso egg drop soup
March: tomato soup from @TheBeltliner
April: tonkotsu ramen from @jinyaramenbar
May: I think this was a tomato gnocchi soup. @who_is_indigo made it and it was delicious.
June, July, and August had lots of homemade soups, ramen takeout, and fancy instant ramen but I don’t seem to have photos.
September: caldo de pollo from the local Saskatoon Berry Farm
October: I made split pea & ham soup and made the croutons and it changed my life
November: I made hot & sour soup which tbh didn’t hit the same as my mom’s but was still really good
December: I got an instant pot and became one of those people. I made split pea soup again.
Honourable mentions: miso soup on birthday from Point Sushi, Italian wedding soup from @ChefsPlateCA, split pea soup in the sukkah w my mom, and this perfect beef stew that I made in the instant pot
