For everyone, this year has been hard for many reasons. In my personal life, I went through a horrible break up in September and months of social isolation made it all worst. But it’s important to be grateful for the good things. Here’s what I’m most proud of in 2020:
I was really fortunate to have been given a shot by a few different editors despite having no real qualifications, advanced education, or experience.
I wrote my first essay this July and I'm grateful to everyone who reached out and took interest then. https://nypost.com/2020/07/11/the-fallacy-of-white-privilege-and-how-its-corroding-society/amp/?__twitter_impression=true

Thanks to @esaagar for inviting me on @thehill after I wrote my first essay. Was a great experience!
Shoutout to the great ppl at @Quillette: @clairlemon, @SwipeWright, @j4mi3p, @jonkay.
Been a big fan and learnt so much from the magazine since early on in high school.
Never could have imagined I'd have the opportunity to contribute myself. My first: https://quillette.com/2020/09/08/police-violence-and-the-rush-to-judgment/

Thanks to national paper here in Canada @globeandmail. Had the privilege of writing for them a few times this year, most recently in October. Was an interesting experience seeing the virality and polarizing opinions over my praise for @joerogan... https://www.theglobeandmail.com/arts/article-joe-rogans-podcast-offers-a-vital-canvas-for-new-perspectives-and/
Shoutout to @adamcarolla for having me on his show a few months ago! Had a great 2 hour convo about race relations, growing wokeness, police brutality, and media bias. Adam is a really interesting guy to talk to. Was a lot of fun. https://adamcarolla.com/rav-arora/
