Another year in exile. #Thread

Things haven’t changed a bit since 2011 when I left back home.

11 days before I was leaving Karachi. I attended the funeral of Ustad Saba Dashtyari in Lyari Karachi. A huge crowd & teary eyes.

In Feb 2011 we received mutilated dead body of
Shaheed Mehboob Wadhela my uncle, on that night there was many other people were around. Many I knew or worked with, either went missing or assassinated by the Pakistani army.

Ustad Saba, Samad Tigrani, Haji Raza, Rehmat Ullah Shohaz, Amin Badshah,
Raza Jahangeer & countless others were killed cold blooded. Few lucky ones came alive from those dungeons but they’re never going to be the same person as before.

People like us who could choose Western countries to find refuge with this hope that we can openly speak against
the brutalities that are taking place in Balochistan. We were hopeful that world will listen to our plea & subjugation of people of Balochistan will come to an end.

Unfortunately the civilised world has already done enough damage to Baloch nation that we are losing hopes
from humanity & the moral values of civilised world & world democracies.

In 2018 when first Baloch activist Rashid Hussain was arrested & deported from UAE to Pakistan we hoped that world will question the authorities about his whereabouts but the civilised world remained
silent. In 2020 a senior Baloch journalist Sajid Hussain went missing from Sweden nearly after one and half months his dead body was recovered and his investigation of his abduction and murder went nowhere but into darkness.
Similarly December shocked us with another brutal news of mysterious death of Baloch leader Karima Baloch.

Again the Canadian police ignored the serious threats behind this whole situation & claimed that it wasn’t a criminal activity but she may have committed suicide.
Think about it why would someone leave their homeland & come thousands miles away for his/her safety & then commit suicide?

Sometime It feels like I am still stuck in 2011 with all those pain & agonies only in a different place.
