Alaska just released its plans for the next phase of vaccine distribution, departing from federal guidance of elders over 75 and key essential workers.

Instead, Alaska plans to next vaccinate everyone over the age of 65 first, then prisoners, older essential workers, etc. #AKleg

She said that the state's expert medical committee of vaccine advisors recommended lowering fed guidelines from 75+ in Phase 1b to 70+, and Dunleavy administration lowered that further to 65+. #AKleg
