Alright, folks are doing their year-end cool work wrap up threads and this year I finally did enough work to warrant one. So here goes!
Technically came out in 2019, but the last big update for Prime Maxima: Warrior was made this year. Despite the game being 2/3rds done, it took a lot of time to do 16:9 support and feature requests. It remains unfinished, may get back to it this year? https://mythatelier.itch.io/prime-maxima-warrior
Bunker Wars was made as I was learning Game Maker Studio 2. It came as a result of my game jam partner cancelling on me at the last minute. I had always wanted to make something like Advance Wars for a long time and I'm glad I had the chance to :) https://mythatelier.itch.io/bunker-wars
Dragon Defender was a really ambitious jam game because the concept was to have two interlocking games hook into each other. We also were working on it with a potential client so there was a lot of pressure to succeed. But we did manage it in the end :) https://isiahgames.itch.io/dragon-defender
Garden Variety is probably one of my more inspired designs from this year. It's a combination of two genres I love (digital deckbuilders and farming games) but have never seen done together. It was a blast to work on and still being developed (in secret) https://mythatelier.itch.io/garden-variety
Stranger Helix is a dream come true because I finally got to collaborate with some really talented people on this surreal take on a First Person Dungeon Crawler. It has been our biggest game by far this year and I am looking forward to its future :D https://mythatelier.itch.io/stranger-helix
Scruffy's Treasure Hunt has the honor of being my first ever commercial game release. It took a lot of work to get it to where it is and we are very proud of the result. It is still in the process of being released on other platforms, so keep an eye out! https://djonesart.itch.io/scruffys-treasure-hunt
Next one is fan game / school project but it is one where I went all out on! Metro 2033: Survival Card Game was my first time doing a game adaptation so it took a lot of research and testing to make sure it "felt" right and had a good level of quality. https://docs.google.com/document/d/17ZNCjwv_PkWtdg3dpifS10tWFF9ZqvGEedTtaB1F0XI/edit?usp=sharing
And then last but not least we have Snowdrift Scramble just before the end of the year! I adore tactics games and I think we managed to create something quite novel with this one. Also the jam team brought their A-game to the project and it shows! https://mythatelier.itch.io/snowdrift-scramble
It was an absolute hell year but I am really glad it gave me the opportunity to make all these games and grow @AtelierMyth more. Extremely thankful to all the people who worked with me all year. Simply put, I wouldn't be here without them. Let's keep this going in 2021 :)
