40. Night In The Dark, Kiss In The Dark - Caveboy.
Until this year I'd never heard of this band,but upon seeing Bright Light Bright Light mention them,I decided to check out their album. I'm so glad I did.

I didn't play this album lots, but I still enjoyed it + felt duty bound to give them a spot here as they were the only artist I saw live this year.

Not his best album by any means, IMO, but still a good one, considering that it was a lockdown project.

37. Everything Changes - Alice Jemima.
I discovered her last year upon seeing her support Sophie Ellis-Bextor on her Song Diaries Tour & upon enjoying her set, I checked out her back catalogue. So glad I did.

36. Recover - The Naked And Famous.
I don't know a lot of their music, but I was totally blown away by this album. A great indie electronic band from New Zealand, who's music I'm intrigued to explore more of.

35. Petals For Amor - Hayley Williams.
I'll be honest & say that I prefer her stuff with Paramore, but nonetheless, this is a very good solo effort & this experimental sound worked surprisingly well for her.

34. Velvet - Adam Lambert.
I was so pumped to hear this album in full after being impressed with the Side A EP that was released last year & I wasn't disappointed by this album either.

Yes, this guy still releases music,LMTBO. And although this isn't his best album, it's still a damn good one. I just wish the interludes weren't a thing,LOL!

32. Cape God - Allie X.
I'll be honest, I don't know a lot of her music, but I'm glad I checked this album out upon having someone recommend it to me. It's fantastic electronic pop.

31. Hot Slick - PINS.
You can officially thank my aunt that I know this Manchester band + that I've seem as a support act twice. A great indie rock band, if I do say so myself.

30. Diamonds - The Birthday Massacre.
A criminally underrated electronic rock band from Canada. The singer, Sara "Chibi" Taylor also has a fantastic voice, if I do say so myself.

29. Highlights - Flawes.
Another band I had never heard of that got recommend to me & I'm so glad I gave them a listen. They remind me of Fickle Friends, who I also love.

I really don't listen to this band enough & I don't know why, as they get better and better with each album I find.

27. Supervision - La Roux.
A very good album, but not her best in my opinion. For me, that goes to Trouble In Paradise, but this album is fantastic in it's own right too.

26. Mindset - Blancmange.
It really sucks that so many people seem to treat their later material as if it doesn't exist. Their past few albums have been fantastic & Mindset is no exception.

25. Smile - Katy Perry.
PRISM is still her best album in my opinion, but this one comes pretty close too. We were given total pop perfection and we needed it at the time of release too.

24. Imploding The Mirage - The Killers.
We were waiting what felt like a eternity for a new Killers album, but I'm delighted to say that the wait was worth it. I hope one day I'll get to see them live.

23. Synthian - NINA.
I enjoyed her debut album, but this one is even better, IMO. If you're looking for a great female electronic singer to check out, I definitely recommend NINA.

22. Reveal - Milan.
I discovered this artist back in 2018 upon hearing Sight For Sore Eyes on a radio show. And this album is fantastic, really gives me PSB vibes!

21. How I'm Feeling Now - Charli XCX.
Another lockdown album & in my opinion, this is Charli XCX's best album since Sucker, LOL! I love that it doesn't feature lots of random duets/collaborations.

20. Always Tomorrow - Best Coast.
I'm a fairly new fan of this American band, as I got into them back in 2018. But I really can't fault any of their albums & I highly recommend checking them out.

19. What The Future Holds - Steps.
Tears On The Dancefloor is their best album, but this one is great too. Yet again, we got pop perfection when we needed it most. Can't wait to see them live.

18. Faith - Hurts.
This is definitely not their best album by any means, but it's still pretty good. That said, it did take a few listens for me to truly appreciate it.

17. Dark Hearts - Annie.
Why is this singer not more well known?! She totally deserves more recognition, as this album is fantastic + Stefan Storm from The Sound Of Arrows produced it.

16. Smoke & Mirrors - The Fizz.
It's hard to believe that this album came out at the beginning of March now! There's also not a single bad track to be found here, IMO.

It was so nice to finally get a new album from this criminally underrated band this year & the wait was totally worth it.

This is his first proper album since 2012's Out Of The Game & it's so nice to have new music from my favourite male Canadian artist again.

13. Made Of Rain - The Psychedelic Furs.
A fantastic comeback album. Even my aunt enjoyed this album & she didn't expect to,considering their rather long hiatus. Richard Butler also has an amazing voice.

12. Black Country Disco - Tom Aspaul.
I'm a fairly new Tom Aspaul fan, due to me only discovering him earlier this year, but I'm so glad I did. He does fantastic dance-pop music & there's not a single skip to be found here.

11. Róisín Machine - Róisín Murphy.
Just missing out on the top 10 of my list is a fantastic album filled with great electronic/disco/house songs. Her livestream show was fantastic too.

10. Future Nostalgia - Dua Lipa.
I enjoyed her debut album, but this album is really something else. The 80's influenced sound here works very well & she gave us a brilliant livestream show to promote it too.

9. Such Pretty Forks In The Road - Alanis Morissette.
Another Canadian artist who made a much appreciated come back in 2020. This album has a quieter side to Alanis, but it works very well nonetheless.

8. Fun City - Bright Light Bright Light.
Choreography is still his best album, IMO, but Fun City is great too. It also happened to get me through 2 boring weeks in September.

7. Point - Yello.
Prior to last year,I didn't really know of this mysterious electronic band from Switzerland. But upon enjoying this album,I properly checked out their back catalogue & I'm glad I did.

6. The Slow Rush - Tame Impala.
A great album from a criminally underrated artist. That said, I still think Currents is his/their best album, LOL! Kevin Parker is also a genius.

5. Chromatica - Lady Gaga.
I didn't really care for Joanne much at all, but this album was a much needed return to form for Lady Gaga, IMO. My only tiny gripe is that most of the tracks are way too short, LOL!

Words cannot express how much I love this album. The post disco sound is totally perfect for her & there's not a single skip to be doing here, IMO.

3. The Neon - Erasure.
I was delighted to find out Erasure were releasing a new album in 2020 & this one is fantastic. I love the 80's/early 90's sounding production here too.

In my opinion, this is Kylie's best album since Aphrodite. There's also not a single bad song here & her Infinite Disco livestream show was groundbreaking too.

1. Hotspot - Pet Shop Boys.
This likely comes as no surprise to anyone, LMTBO! Neil Tennant's voice comforts me a lot at the best of times,but it's especially helped me out greatly in 2020 too.
