Finished the Hunter Exams arc, In my opinion it's one of the best first arcs in Anime/Manga, this arc sets up the characters of the series and their personalities very well
With each phase of the exams being it's own separate thing that's always differen keeps things interesting for the viewers by having a new challenge at every turn and not knowing what to expect next

The final phase is in my opinion the best phase of the exam. Gon's fight against Hanzo manages to show power gap and how Gon won't always win. This arc also sets up some stuff that will be important for future arcs

The highlights of this arc in my opinion has got to be Hisoka. His presence on screen, His OST, his voice are all great. He has the perfect balance of revealing enough about himself to keep the audience interested, but not too much to make him uninteresting.
Gon's morality is also set up in this arc. From the way he is unfazed by Killua telling him he's a assassin cause he accepts him without any reservations.

The few gripes that i have with this arc are some slow moments in the 3rd phase of the exams but overall it's a enjoyable for a first arc. 8.5/10
