Covid cases rising, covid cases falling, covid test positive greater than 3% or 5%-- there is no rule in 'science' that says schools must close based on any of these thresholds

In each case, it is a trade-off; & a policy decision is based on what a society values....
Europe has shown you do not have to close schools, even when cases are rising, to control epidemic spread

Only a society can decide how much it values children's health and well being vs. extra cases
