2020 has been a tough one for a lot of people, I’ve lost and lost out on a lot this year, and I contemplated not celebrating what has gone well, but here we are. A thread.
January: I performed and spoke on panels at the Mathrubhhumi International Festival of Letters, India. At home I won the Potential Unlocked ‘Influential Leader in Education’ Award.
February:
Jaxon Cooper Bailey was born. There are no words for this kind of blessing. Some amazing work stuff happened in Feb too... but who cares... REALLY!

I released music for the first time in years, and I’m not looking back. Change dropped on June 10th which would have been my mom’s 59th birthday.

@ST3AMCo invited me to be the writer in residence at their Art Camp, as it looked like the days of lockdown were ending. Here I am at my residence for the weekend!
I also checked my barber for the first time in 6 months...

In many ways this year has been horrible, but I will continue to push to do the best that I can...
