This picture is from another COVID fear-mongering article by @TheAtlantic. Hollywood always has the paramedic pull out a flashlight and look in the eyes. Never once in four years on the ambulance did I ever approach a patient by shining a bright light in their eyes.

For, say, a closed head trauma, after taking care of scene safety, number of patients, patient extrication, back boarding, airway and breathing then PERHAPS LATER on the ambulance I would check the pupils to get a Glasgow coma scale scale reading for the Emergency Department.

Point is: @TheAtlantic is just pushing more fake-medicine to make America live in an unending terror of their totalitarian health-overlords.
