My 2021 predictions (this year will be wild, so I expect to look foolish!):

- #Bitcoin will pass Apple's market cap
- A Bitcoin ETF will finally launch in the US (as a result of new AML/KYC on derivative exchanges like BitMex)
- Coinbase will IPO and be valued above GM

- In Q1/2 a S&P 500 company will reveal it holds some Bitcoin (Tesla?)
- One or more banks will reveal they hold some Bitcoin
- Someone prominent (e.g. IMF / Fed Reserve / ECB) will loudly say that #Bitcoin is a threat to financial policy causing a 30% correction

- L2 usage (e.g. Lightning) accelerates hugely
- Tether will settle with US regulator/s and continue to grow
- You will get a girlfriend, but for the wrong reasons
- I will re-tweet my 'old man' advice at some point ... probably too early

- Large electricity companies will start mining #Bitcoin with surplus supply
- Bitcoin OG's and celebs will start to disappear / change names
- Ripple will pivot to a PoS model and burn most of their frozen supply to settle with the SEC, also paying an epic fine

- DeFi makes a comeback, regulators eventually decide to take action against a dex and/or seller of 'governance tokens' to make a point

Bonus predictions:

- #Bitcoin will cause mental health issues as people strugle to cope with previously selling too soon / losing coins / trading losses / waiting for a dip that never comes

- I will still be bald and posting GIFs
