6. March 13th saw this mind-blowing Sky interview in which Sir Patrick Vallance clearly articulated the government’s infection acquired herd immunity strategy. He set a target of 60% of the population. The interviewer challenged him about the deaths that would involve.
7. An interview between the PM and Dr Jenny Harries on the 11th March offered the double whammy of recommending against the widespread use of face masks and supporting the continuation of mass events (totally ignoring transport risk to and from those events).
8. And of course the now infamous Channel 4 News ‘herd immunity’ exchange on the 13th March between @tomaspueyo and John Edmunds.
9. The UK government’s response to #COVID19 has been wrong from day one. We have one of the worst mortality rates in the world and are racking up more infections than almost anywhere else.
