Listing a number of reasons she feels so traumatized by the restrictions of COVID is priceless political theatre. Everyone is in the same boat. None of us can visit with family.

The audacity to ask for sympathy because you might get caught travelling to visit family when there is a long standing closed border between Canada and US is repugnant.

What’s more repulsive is the fact Ms Rempel knows the optics are unsavoury. She even states the primary reason is because as an elected official the expectations of her behaviour are higher than most other citizens.

And for that, we should hate the CBC journalists who made a mockery of conservative politicians who obviously believe their privileges are being eroded and seriously questioned. How dare they!?!

If you hadn’t been so hell bent on infecting the rest of us, and so callous to continue to ignore public health practices to contain COVID transmission, we might be celebrating Christmas with family and able to spend precious moments with our friends and relatives.
Conservatives deserve the vilification they are receiving. Public sentiment is hovering around disgust and rage.

Michelle needs some empathy for the people who have lost loved ones and those who have become sick and will suffer life long illness & side effects because cons have made public health orders almost futile.
