I've been saying it for years, but D&D should change its 'blinded' and 'deafened' conditions to 'disoriented' because players and DMs don't seem to understand that the condition of 'blinded' or 'deafened' isn't the same as being legally Blind or Deaf/HoH.

It's a quick fix- 1/4
to just change it to 'disoriented' and specify whether it affects vision or hearing perception within the spell/attack/etc it applies to.

The same goes for 'paralyzed' - it's not to be conflated with being paraplegic. When a spell or item lifts the effects of being- 2/4
'blinded/deafened/paralyzed' it means the Condition, not an actual *disability* that the character/creature has.

It sure would put a stop to the whole 'but magic can 'cure' you so no disabled people exist in fantasy settings' ableist crap. 3/4
Conditions in D&D refer to short term effects typically caused by magic and can either be lifted or waited out for their duration. They don't refer to disabilities, chronic illnesses, or neurodivergency.

You don't just 'wait out' disabilities.

4/END.
Also 'Seized' or 'Locked Up' would be great substitutes for the 'Paralyzed' Condition!
