Realistic Transfer Signings for Spurs during the January Window

In this thread, I'll look at a couple of players for each position that I think we need to strengthen in for a relatively cheap price
Position 1: LCB
We need a LCB. They have to be quick, so Spurs can play a higher defensive line and aerially dominant so we don't concede as many from set pieces

Option 1: Duje Caleta Car (Marseille, 24)
An extremely aggressive and front foot defender, Caleta Car combines strength with a great reading of the game. At 6'3", he is aerially dominant. However his decision making and temperament is sometimes questionable. Est price: £20-25 mil

Option 2: Gleison Bremer (Torino, 23)
While CBs like Milenkovic and Botman were also close, I think Bremer is a better option for us. While not as good as Caleta Car in the air, he is extremely fast and very good in the tackle. He's 6'2" and can play in 3atb. Est cost- 25 mil

Position 2: Central midfield
Signing a central midfielder solves 2 problems at once. It provides us depth in the area, and goal scoring CMs can relieve the pressure on Son/Kane as well as lifting the burden on Ndombele and making us more solid in transition

Target 1: Marcel Sabitzer
Sabitzer is a fantastic player. He is versatile, he can play anywhere in mf, provides a goal threat and good defensive contribution. He's RBL captain so has great mentality he can bring to dressing room. And a set piece specialist. Est cost-40 mil

Target 2: Joao Palhinha, Sporting, 25
Totally different player to Sabitzer, Palhinha is more of a DM but can also play CM. He can provide great backup to Hojbjerg as well as a great mentality. He's a tackling specialist. 6'3" so aerially dominant. Hidden gem. Est cost: 15-20 mil

Area 3: Goalscoring winger/striker
We need someone desperately to take the burden off Kane and Son. Besides this, we need a solid RW option. Bergwijn Bale, Lucas and Lamela have all underperformed here

Target 1: Zaha
Zaha is made for us. 28 years of age, he is at the peak of his career. He is electric on the counterattack, a great finisher and does his defensive jobs. This is probably his final chance to have a go at Europe and he will want to come if we try. Est cost- 30 mil

Target 2:
While CP wont want to sell Zaha in the middle of the season, we could go to the Championship for Buendia. he is more creative than Zaha, and an equally good goalscorer. Norwich are in the Championship, if we offer good money, he will definitely come. Est cost: 20-25 mil

CONCLUSION:
I hope Levy and Jose realise that this is the most open and best chance at a league for years. A good window is the platform for trophies and titles in 2021. As you can see, it's definitely do-able and for relatively cheap!

I made a mistake, Zaha would cost 40 mil+ not 30 mil. Oh and other players that didn't make the list:
Botman, Malinovskyi, Armstrong, Dasilva, Amrabat, Hause, Anguissa (really like him btw), Bissouma
