In this thread, I will identify the certain positions/roles that we are lacking, and who I would recruit if I were apart of the Spurs board.
In my opinion, the critical area’s that we are lacking are LCB, RW, and a creative midfielder.
This thread will rationalize my choices.

LCB: Sven Botman (20)
It is well reported that Lille has capitulated financially, and need to offload players as a result.
Jose has stated his desire to find a quick left footed cb to assist in circulation, and Botman would certainly fit the bill.

6’4 Ft tall. Aerially Dominant. Would be a great answer to our set piece woes.

RW: Marcel Sabitzer (26)
I would ideally like to get a pure RW, such as Adams Traore, who could take people on, thats sadly not realistic.
Sabitzer is versatile, and can deliver good crosses in the half-spaces on the right flanks. Would be a great option.

•G/A contribution per 143 minutes
•1 Key Pass
•1.73 Shots
xG of 2.8, which would make him the third highest on our team, only behind Son and Kane. He’s no Eriksen, but would be great.

CAM: Papu Gomez (32)
Fortunately for Tottenham, Papu and his manager, Gian Piero Gasperini, have fallen out with one another, prompting Papu to leave in the January window.
He has captained Atalanta for the last few seasons, and still retains great pace.

Papu is a true counter-attacking threat, and we have the option to get him for the low.

January is always a difficult window to complete signings, so I don’t expect us to make all of these signings, but these would be my ideal choices per position.
Botman would solve our set piece problems, Sabitzer would provide versatility, and Papu is a bargain
