My in laws have a spice cabinet that goes back decades. Every time they have moved they have packed it up because “they’re perfectly fine, Matt”. I call it the #SpiceMuseum. Let’s review some samples together #SpiceTwitter #Accountantswhohealth 1/
First up we have some McCormick pumpkin pie spice . Still pretty recent. I recognize the logo style. We don’t have pricing info on this one, but so have the date stamp on the bottom 2/
Looks like we have some @BarackObama era presidential spice. 2011 is not too bad, within a decade.

Next up some dried thyme. Organic lasts longer maybe? The container is feeling a little worn down and we have about half left or more.

Still Obama presidency! If you bought the S&P 500 around when this thyme was harvested you would have great returns. At this pace 11 years later we should finish this container sometime in the early 2030s when @elonmusk has put people on Mars

Let’s go with a brief intermission and a mystery jar. This ground mace has neither date nor pricing. Do we have any guesses on this one?
6/
6/
Next up we have food coloring. @martawheeler used to put this in the bath for us as kids. The packaging looks familiar. We don’t have dates but we have pricing
7/

$1.93 for this four pack of food coloring. I am surprised they included green since we can make it with yellow and blue. My guess is late 80s or early 90s on this one?

Now we are getting to the good stuff. Pretty sure mint extract lasts forever? No dates, no pricing but the logo matches some others we do have dates on...
9/
9/
Another complete mystery. Does anyone use gravy master? Do they exist? Is this older than me (1981)?

Last up this trip we have Anise seed. I like the faux wood packaging and the browns and yellows. I think this helps with dating. We do have also price and dates however
