Things I learned in 2020.

/THREAD/
1. Organise and build systems.

Building systems will make your habits better. It will help you to be more successful ahead.
2. Anything can happen. You could see someone alive today, dead tomorrow.

Appreciate everyone and help people. The world is uncertain. Don't let criticism blind you.
3. Consume selected content.

Keep filtering what you consume. Consume content which makes you think.

Don't mindlessly just watch game streams or funny sitcoms.

Watch value adding content.
4. Read.

The best books and articles I've come across this year.

Some of my reads
- 48 laws of power
- Deep work
- How to win friends and influence people
- Autobiography of a yogi
- Rich dad poor dad

And many more.

Reading is the first step.

Re-reading is the second.
5. Don't argue with someone. You lose always. Specially online.

This is a lesson I learned.

By winning the argument you lose the valuable time and that person forever.

By losing you lose anyways.
6. Tranquility is the new luxury.

Experience tranquility. You'll find everything less significant.
7. Listening interviews > Scrolling social media.

I wasted much of my time scrolling social media.

But when I realized my mistake I immediately corrected myself.

Now I listen to podcasts/interviews and expand my knowledge.
8. Start. Rest all will align automatically.

You just need to take the first step.

Rest leave it as it is.

You will handle everything. Don't hesitate to start something new.
9. Never jump to conclusions fast.

We make conclusions so fast.

Give yourself time and then decide what you think.

Use your brain. Don't just always be in a hurry.
10. Sleep is what you need.

If you feel tired, feel less motivated,

Have some sleep.

It's what you need most of the time.
11. Ignoring the problem is not the solution.

Don't ignore your problems.

Sit with them and solve them as soon as possible.

Less headache than before.
12. Play Chess.

It will definitely help you to think better and develop strategies.
13. Keep health as a top priority.
14. You can only grow when you're out from your comfort zone.

I stayed away from home for nearly 2 years.

Believe me.

If I hadn't been away, I would have not learned and would have remained stagnant.
15. Keep meeting new people.

It makes you more confident.

It helps to build more contacts.

Sometimes a phone call can save you a ton of things.
16. Always have some savings.

You don't know when would a sudden need arise. Always have some money in cash form.
17. Don't you worry child,
See heaven's got a plan for you.
