@Indytenpoint has 30 volunteers who give 6 hrs a wk, & patrol in 5 dangerous hotshot areas in city. TenPoint gives each volunteer a small stipend for their service. These volunteers risk their lives nightly to try to save at-risk youth/young adults from violence, death, & prison.

Even if you don't think the TenPoint patrol teams have been successful, these volunteers are out in all types of weather trying to do something about the violence. These volunteers walk at night down dark streets with very little lights. The volunteers are brave & fearless.

When the TenPoint volunteers hear gunshots they go to the area. The volunteers engage neighborhood cliques, gangs, & all types of individuals with unlawful guns, who many have no regard for the sanctity of human life. The TenPoint OG's & volunteers care about our at-risk youth.

Since 2016 in partnership with community & IMPD 10 times a neighborhood @Indytenpoint patrols it has gone a yr without a homicide, & 11 times without a youth homicide ages 12 to 24. Whatever we are doing right together it has worked.
