As we come to the end of 2020, I want to thank some heroic individuals. Your dogged pursuit of the truth, against all odds, shone a light into dark places. Your courage brought healing to the abused and accountability to the powerful.
- I want to thank @LoriAnneThomps2 and her husband Brad. Your perseverance, grace, and strength is an inspiration.
- I want to thank all of the survivors who had the courage to tell their stories to @reachjulieroys, @danielsilliman, and @emlybelz. I honor you for that costly decision.
- I want to thank Anna Adesanya for your courageous willingness to go on the record with @emlybelz. While so many are afraid to publicly critize Ravi, you made a brave decision. https://bit.ly/38Kmu1q
- I want to thank @RaviScam for his sacrificial commitment to telling the truth about Ravi Zacharias and RZIM. Despite constant rejection, you kept at it, and your work will bring hope and healing to so many vulnerable women. http://raviwatch.com
- I want to thank @DefendTheSheep and the team that works with her. You've courageously and persistently told the truth - without much honor - for a long time!
- I want to thank @reachjulieroys. Your reporting this September was essential to opening my eyes to the truth about Ravi and the Thompsons. You kept breaking important stories, including the publication of @MaxBakerHytch's letters.
- I want to thank @LynseyBarron8 of @MillerMartinLaw for her professionalism and commitment to telling the truth. We are praying for you as we await a painful but necessary final report.
- I want to thank @wademullen, @DianeLangberg, @scotmcknight, @laurambarringer, and @R_Denhollander. Your scholarship and stories have opened my eyes to the patterns of sexual abusers and organizational complicity.
- I want to thank @SamAllberry for his courage. He was the first to publicly say at @RZIMhq that he believed the women. I'm thankful for his gentle heart and mature wisdom.
- I want to thank @DanielGilmanHQ for becoming a dear friend. He has encouraged my heart and deepened my thinking like no one else in the past three months.
- I want to thank @MaxBakerHytch for his unbelievable letters to RZIM's leadership. Your insights clarified the systemic problems for me and so many others. Thank you for speaking up.
- I want to thank the board of @ZachariasTrust for your public statement and commitment to what is right. https://bit.ly/34W0Rdy
- I want to thank @johnpauldickson, @DanPaterson7, and @jordanmthyer. You've done Australia right. I admire your courage to go on the record!
- I want to thank everyone I cannot yet name (or forgot to name!). You know who you are and you know what you've done for the Lord. Well done.
- I want to thank my own family, friends, and church community. You've prayed for me, challenged me, encouraged me, and supported me. I'm grateful beyond what words can express.
