There were social wars and political battles to win. I’m with you, and I trust by now you know I wasn’t being serious about the whole Yelp Elite thing. Yelp is an iffy operator. Making it to the swag-collecting top of that platform is nonsense right now. (4/9)
However, for most of us this was a lost opportunity to get better, smarter, and kinder. If you were standing hungry in a food line, things will get better. If you were fighting for social change and a level playing field, keep fighting. (5/9)
If you lost someone you love this year, and couldn’t be with them in their final moments, weeks, or months because of – well, COVID – my shoulder is there for you. However, if you spent 2020 binge watching the same movies and shows you’ve seen countless times you blew it. (6/9)
If you’re hunting down a PS5 with your latest $600 stimulus check you failed. This was a time to improve yourself. This was a time to learn a skill that will make you more valuable in the future. This was a time to start new family traditions. (7/9)
