3/ easier 2transport & stable for 30 days when so stored. AZV can be kept a refrigerator temperature (around +4ºC) (don’t know for how long), is cheaper, based on older tried & established vaccine technology. Now to get true herd immunity at say 63%, one either needs 90% of the
4/ppl vaccinated w/a vax providing 70% protection or 70% of the ppl vaccinated w/a vax providing 90%. In civilized countries w/full access & rational population, this shouldn’t be a problem. But in USA 40% & in France 60% of ppl don’t intend to get vaccinated.
5/One needs not be a seer to imagine, say in UK, AZV will go to Northern England & poorer neighbourhoods, while politicians & the rich get PBV. In Africa, they will get AZV when they get it, if they get it. Better than nothing, right? In Africa ppl get older HIV medication

11/So say France & UK have both abt 67M ppl. If 60% do not get vaxxed in France & 100% were vaxxed in UK, the pool 134M is 80% vaxxed, at 70% efficacy one gets 56% overall, so no herd immunity. If UK got say 80% vaxxed, at 70% efficacy it would be 42% overall.
