A lot of my beliefs around how our society functions were challenged this year and I took it upon myself to read into why that is and what I can do to help. There is still so much for me to learn but I think it is important for us to come to terms with our past as individuals
through the understanding that a lot of our day to day decisions are not always in our control. This has helped me to understand the struggle of others better and to not be so quick to judge those I disagree with. I am still a firm believer that change doesn't come through the
existing systems or by asking for it nicely but instead through demanding and taking what belongs to the people. The intersectionality of our politics has to be at the forefront if we are truly looking for the liberation of all yet our focus on the local level has never been more
important. I really don't think there has been another year in my lifetime where the word "solidarity" has been more important. Knowing the real enemy separates those who yell at their neighbors for not being empathetic (which I was guilty of 100%) and those that demand more
be done to take care of us all. I think that is where real solidarity comes into play.

Anyway, much more to learn in 2021 with nothing to lose but our chains! A better world is possible.
