I've been thinking about those hateful comments about how most of the COVID deaths have been older people and those with underlying conditions. And how most of the replies were people saying things like "well, I'm older/have underlying conditions, and I have a full-time job,
Am fit and active, look after the grandchildren, am extremely lovely and worth saving.
And as an immunosuppressed diabetic, I hear what you're saying, I really do. And you're right, and those are important, true points to make.

You don't have to pay tax to be worth saving.
You don't have to climb mountains, or be fit and healthy, or be nice, or even well-loved.
You don't earn the right to matter, it's something you're born with. Everybody matters. Everyone is important.
