I learned to code at 29 using the internet at ~$100/month.

Here's what I use(d):

- Ivy League & University YouTube (Stanford, Harvard, MIT)
- Curated Twitter & outbound links
- Pluralsight
- Egghead
- ~6 books & podcasts / year
- A few hours to consultants
- A Cloud Guru
The curated Twitter feed was one of the most (unexpectedly) useful pieces here, providing an almost endless stream of blog posts and videos.

The paid consultants probably provided the most bang for the buck, though they were the most expensive of everything. Having an ..
experienced specialist walk you through complex subject matter is something that cut weeks / months of learning for me in usually a matter of hours. It's something I was privileged to do towards the latter part of my learning as I was making money, but provided a ton of value.
