Ive said that the main purpose of keeping schools open is ideological but at this point im starting to think its just discreet eugenics

They knew about the current strain since late September but they were completely contempt with keeping schools open and letting it cause destruction, now even after concern theyre doing it again

The ideological benefits alone wouldnt be worth it and there isn't much direct financial benefit from keeping schools open, the financial benefit here comes from letting old and disabled people die under a guise of "kids mental health" (which the tories defunded)

Hopefully my last tweet on covid mess bc theres not much else to complain about but im pretty surprised we arent getting protest over schools staying open at this point because thousands are going to die at best and the vaccine might flop too at worst
