President Trump is nothing more than a marketing con man. He sold himself to America the same way he sold Trump steaks, Trump vodka and Trump University. Lot's of sizzle, but never any steak and on to the next con before he's caught. He promised to build a wall and have
2. Mexico pay for it. Never happened. He promised to repeal Obamacare and replace it with a better healthcare system. 4 years later, he still hasn't put an alternative on the table. He promised 4% economic growth but never came close to that -- before the pandemic. He had
3. multiple infrastructure weeks, but never a policy proposal, just talk. He said he'd bring back manufacturing jobs and revive the coal industry. Neither happened. He passed a 1.5 trillion dollar tax cut for corporations who primarily used it to buy back stock, not invest.
4. He promised to make a better deal with Iran and North Korea. Neither happened and both are closer to having a nuclear arsenal. He promised to wipe out our national debt in 8 year -- the opposite happened due to his corporate tax cut. Then the con turned deadly. He said we had
5. the best testing for covid in the world. We have nearly the worst. He said it would just go away. He spread like wildfire and killed hundreds of thousands. And he promised 100 million vaccinations by the end of the year. That has turned into a national joke. By like all con
6. men, there will always be a rube who will buy his promises. Or as PT Barnum said, "there is a sucker born every day." And that's the key to a con man's con. Promising something that he knows he won't deliver, but knowing people just want to believe despite all the evidence.
7. 74 million of those suckers voted for him in November believing Trump heard them and had his back. They felt like he was working for them. That was the con -- he always was only working for himself. But he's not going anywhere since there is a sucker born every day.
