I'm a physician with psoriatic arthritis and I got my COVID vaccine yesterday. Was I a little worried about feeling awful the next day because my joints are used to getting inflamed, yes. Was that ever going to prevent me from getting it now, no.
For background, my disease is relatively mild but at the worst was still preventing me from getting my job done quickly. I'd round on one or two folks, rest for 10 min and keep going until I'd finally seen everyone.
So I REALLY never want to get back to that point. I've been on non-biologic DMARDs including plaquenil earlier this year (that is its own interesting thread) and am currently on a monthly biologic.
