Very early on in the pandemic, we/SEGA offered 30k medical grade masks through official channels quietly which we'd been sent from Japan where masks are an every day thing. The authorities were so busy that it wasn't sorted. If we'd done it publicly, it likely would have but....

....we would have been accused of doing it for publicity. They were instead distributed locally when we realised it wasn't going to be done centrally.
