This would mean that the 'Fence' which separates Gibraltar from Spain will in due course be demolished
UK citizens coming to Gibraltar will need EU border guards to stamp their passports, while EU citizens will be able to enter freely

More seriously, this is one of the most notable instances of EU institutions stepping in to directly manage relations between two countries (here Frontex doing border control on behalf of Spain for a UK territory)
Even as we leave this is a clear example of the EU's vital importance - detoxifying disputes and maintaining openness
