Despite being an utter clusterfuck of a year, and losing 2 family members to Covid, there are some positives I’ll be taking from 2020.

Working from home and having the kids here for most of the year has been brilliant. I cherish every second they’re with me.

My employer...
...has also fully embraced home working and is showing signs that this is here to stay.

I’ve always been an okay cook but not eating out has tested my cooking to the limits and I’ve learned loads.

Although I’ve not been in the company of friends and family as normal, 2020...
...has taught me who is actually important in my life, to finally cut out the toxic, and to focus on what I want from my relationship with those around me IRL and those i interact with on here and other platforms.

I’ve also made friends with some new folks and...
...reconnected with some folks from the past.

For 2021 I want to keep moving forward in a positive manner. I’ve no idea how the pandemic, politics, or the year will pan out, so will approach it much like I always try to; with an open mindset and a willingness to be...
...as honest as I can with people, to react to events with calm consideration, and keep looking out for my dream job as a guillotine operator should the revolution finally gets underway.

2020 has taken a toll on us all and I’d like to thank everyone on here who’s provided...
company, support & comfort, and laughs in 2020 and I wish you all well for 2021.
