b) because they heard a couple of songs and liked them? presumably that hurts the band in no way at all. Maybe that person will then listen to a few more songs. Meanwhile someone else sees the t-shirt and tries out a song or two. Can't be bad

What is the harm? Either they like the band that you like and are a fellow fan and that's great.
Or they're trying out their music and are a potential fellow fan. Why wouldn't that be a great thing?
