Finally took some time to fix a lot of little tex-ing things that have been bothering me all year, which included writing this magic monstrosity that automates moving inline math to display math
I also separated out enough and organized enough of my tex files that I can start explaining and sharing some of the individual pieces
I'll try to toss the info in a blog post.

And massively upgraded my tex previewing setup by writing some code that hooks in to render it as HTML instead of PDF. The time to recompile + update the preview is down to like 2s instead of 10-12, which speeds the entire process up a lot
And my favorite (but most difficult thing) so far: I upgraded my snippets to get this neat little menu that lets you preview them all on-the-fly and autocomplete them into the doc
I'm having to relearn a bunch of keyboard shortcuts, but it's suuuuper nice

Which also gives a boatload of tab-completion for partial matches on prose! In practice, it basically works like autocorrect on a phone, and prioritizes words in my own docs + corpus. So far, I rarely have to type the last half of most words or names
