The misinformation, disinformation, lies, libel, targeting, harassment, abuse, pearl-clutching, straw-grasping...
Headings & previews on Twitter often include exclamation points - & emotional keywords in all-caps telling readers how to feel: OUTRAGEOUS. DISGUSTING. DEVASTATING.

Twitter include their blue notes, but it's not enough. Twitter blocks links to Qanonsense sites; they could easily block links to this putrid punditry. The targeting is out of control. The Twitter comments are threatening. They even target Republicans who aren't pro-Trmp ENOUGH.
That's me venting.
Back to the point - the comments on Trmp's posts are actually a better place mentally to be for me. Because the awfulness is interspersed with people calling out the raff. Pointing out court cases. Fact-checking. Debunking.
Reality is relief.

Because when just searching the pundit URL Tweets, it's all awful all the time. They make such a big deal out of what they claim is happening in which state that I search the keywords in another tab to find out the facts their headlines deliberately omit. Search for reality.
It is not enough to be conservative or Republican for them. It is not enough to be pro-Trmp for them. Fox News isn't pro-Trump enough for them. Some even turned away from Newsmax after a single mention of Biden being President-Elect.
They demand proactively pro-Trmpness.

The comments they send to their favourite podcast's presenters make it clear that all they want is HOPE. They don't want facts. Putrid punditry is chicken soup for their soul. They exclude all else.

I don't think it's safe for anyone opposing them to show up. They want to bait people into committing violence against THEM, so they can claim victimhood. They want excuses to blame others for "burning, looting, murdering".

I know that showing opposition to them and standing up against them is important.
But these are people who proudly claim that they're willing to DIE for a second Trmp inauguration. They mention a possibly-upcoming second Civil War. They display their firearms in their images.

Some of these people may have even gone to war as official military.
But most are just "digital soldiers". Who happen to be egged on & led by an actual former General. That's why they have so much war speech and symbology. The "Meme War Veterans" aren't just having fun anymore.

I read a good thread the other week explaining the realities of civil war, and why it's really not a good thing for the country or its citizens, and how keyboard warriors would not be able to cope in a real war.
The people who most need to read and learn from that thread won't.

The threats aren't all just vague about what they claim is "coming" or "it's here". The threats are specific. Not even in a "you're going to jail" way - but specifying the method of execution, with accompanying imagery. (So many gallows and nooses posted.)
