Sectors which breaks even in 10/12 years often hires CEOs with 3 years mandate!! 1st year they take the feel of the power and change knights & processes as per their convenience, 2nd year they enjoy CEO CHALISA by their sucker-gang. 3rd year board kicks their asses! Repeat.
Year 1: Last CEO was useless evil. I am your new saviour. Come surrender to me. I might save you, if your devotion stands out. Break all temples built by the last CEO, kill all knights & their families. Build new & more expensive temples (in the name of cost saving & efficiency)
Place my devotees from my last companies as new Priests & Knights as a sign of perfection in high temples (Verticals). Spend endlessly on new processes in the name of efficiency. Destroy last processes, including profitable ones...now your new empire looks set!! Maza a geya!
Year 2: The over excited & newly appointed knights spends like monkeys on travel, conferences, foreign tour, process upgradations etc. just to ‘scent mark’ their new territories and sing the greatness chalisa of their boss, the new CEO, in public. And mocking the CEO in private.
Now, the organisation is all set to take off...ab phad dengey...

Here comes year 3:

Board meeting: Bhosdike, profits kidhar hai? Teri top line gain ka batti banake andar daal le...these sort of top line gain is unsustainable. Give us the real growth. Gore humari mar rahe!
And then the Rajnikant CEO becomes the Rajnikant of politics. A dud. And the hyenas smells that first. They swiftly abandons the CEO and becomes loyal to the Board mandate, again...

And by 4th or max 5th year a new CEO comes. And repeats the process.

Shareholders ki aisi taisi!
And of course, every 4th/5th year, the board will hire a super expensive consulting firm (headed by one of their business school mate) to find out “What’s wrong” with the company?

And the Agnirasa’s tribe will come with a report after deep analysis...
They would propose structural changes and manpower and vertical rationalisation (same shit that they or their biradari proposed 4/5 years back)...

And the process of kicking the CEO out begins...😁
