ok so i guess i need to get this out of my system and maybe it'll help someone understand: the dumbass's guide to the covid-19 vaccine (as written by a dumbass)
ok so one of the big things that makes the rona so dangerous and effective are the sticky-grabbies on the outside. so we don't need to know how to fight the entire virus, just the sticky-grabbies
the vaccine gives us the virus's instructions on how to make the sticky-grabbies (this is mrna). so our bods them, and our immune systems are like wtf are these?? this is why it takes so long to be effective. our bods have to both make and learn to defeat the sticky-grabbies
this is why you'll feel like shit when you get the vaccine, because those sticky-grabbies are tricky little bastards and our immune systems need time to figure out how to defeat them. this is also why you need a booster a month later to ensure your bod has this 100% figured out
also you'll need to wear a mask until about 2 weeks after the booster because you can still pass the rona onto other people during that time!
