2020 was about survival when covid hit. I was forced to turn a hobby into a business overnight and turned to Twitter for help.
Here's a group of people that I found here who have helped me build my small business without them even knowing it

Here's a group of people that I found here who have helped me build my small business without them even knowing it

@TaylorHoliday and CTC for joining their Admission program back in April. I learned so much in a few months there and it also connected me to a bunch of people on Twitter.
I joined @ecomchasedimond free, and later his paid email list and courses. This added a whole new dimension to my business. I have also got some consulting gigs to help pay some bills along the way
@social_savannah for introducing me to the Power 5 and opened her FB group for Free membership. I've gotten so many creative ideas from within the group alone
@soundslikecanoe for sharing his experiences on bootstrapping a company and reinforcing that success is not overnight. I often return to this tweet when things are not going to plan https://twitter.com/soundslikecanoe/status/1232316015373058049?s=19
@jabbawy Podcast on @privy and his willingness to respond and engage to questions here on Twitter. Still amazes me how implementing ideas from single tweets can drive $$$ to my business. https://open.spotify.com/show/3X9HxMBVIF2LpUoCJbbpJE?si=KoblSMoJTPixsps-EMmpKw
@zxed for inviting me onto @join_space earlier this year to share my story with similar people on the same journey. It's just as important to connect with people who are at your level as well as those doing much bigger things.
Final shoutout to people like @mattladydigital @jsappington @justinwiesehan @DenneyDara for insightful content on on ads, email and challenges in building an online business in general.
It's not easy to surround yourself with high performing and driven people, especially during covid lockdowns, but Twitter solves that problem for us all. Here's to a great year ahead.
