Pfizer to order more because the CEO of Pfizer indicated they had millions of doses sitting in their warehouse. I was told we can’t- we have to go through the federal government and the government turned the offer of additional doses down. I think they may have recently worked

out a deal to acquire more vaccine. This is a recurring pattern. First, the feds couldn’t provide enough PPE and blamed it on the states, saying the states should go out and buy it, so states ended up in bidding wars with the feds and other countries. Then they couldn’t get us

enough tests and testing supplies. Now, the feds actually control all the access to vaccines but tell states they are on their own again. It is just repeated incompetence and lack of planning.
