So what if instead of placing the responsibility on children for being ‘spoiled’, we realized that children are acting out behaviorally as a reaction to the parenting they are receiving.  .
So what if instead of placing the responsibility on children for being ‘disrespectful’, we realized that children are often acting out what they are learning at home.
So what if instead of placing the responsibility on children for being ‘needy’, we realized that children are trying to get their needs met and people around them don’t know how to meet them.
Let’s stop feeding into the idea that children are innately ‘bad’ if they make us uncomfortable and ‘good’ when they act according to our comfort.

Let’s spend more time trying to understand them and finding the tools to help them. Kids need adults who understand their world.
