Just want people to know that one of the reasons China can get away with using slave labor is because Americans like to buy cheap stuff and don't really care where it's made.

It's not this simple obviously, but 25 years ago Walmart was the "Made in America" company and Kmart was kicking their butt. Walmart changed its business strategy, adding more groceries and importing more stuff from China, and well, when's the last time you've been in a Kmart?

I'm not calling anyone a hypocrite here, but if we want businesses to change their practices, we have to stop supporting said businesses. Bottom line. That means stop buying Apple products, and Nikes, and yes, stop shopping at Walmart.

But we won't because we want what we want, and if someone is offering it to us at a better price, most times we chose the better price. There's nothing wrong with that, you work hard for your money. Just remember that though whilst you're making your grand proclamations.
