Today was supposed to be a day of celebration of the agreement concluded with great difficulty in KSA between two Yemeni competing powers for control of southern Yemen, aimed at helping them confront the Houthis allied with Iran across the north.

But it turned into an attack on the new alliance as they arrived in Aden Airport, it left many dead and wounded, once again stressing how difficult it is to end a devastating conflict that has left millions of Yemenis on the brink of famine.
